Sonic on Anderson Avenue in Manhattan -Google image MANHATTAN—Law enforcement authorities are investigating a Kansas teen in connection with an incident involving a gun. Just after 7:30 p.m. on Monday, police were called to Sonic Drive-In 2711 Anderson Avenue in Manhattan. A 19-year-old and two 20-year-old women reported a 16-year-old boy pointed a gun at them while in the parking lot at the restaurant. As officers arrived, the suspect later identified as 16-year-old Cedric Swinson of Manhattan ran from Sonic across Westport Place to the parking lot of Walgreens and then crossed Garden Way and was taken into custody in the parking lot of the Evergreen Apartments.
