Elizabeth Butry , 28, of Manhattan, Riley County, Kansas, United States previously lived in Lawrence, Douglas County, Kansas. She is accused of sexually abusing a boy, 13, in February 2023. At around 11:00 a.m. on March 7, 2023, Riley County Police Department officers arrested Butry. She was charged with one count each of attempted rape and furnishing alcohol to a minor, two counts of contributing to a child's misconduct and three counts of rape. The victim was known to Butry, according to the Riley County Police Department.
